Our welcome, well there was no welcome....just follow me and sat at a table! Big party in of a table for 12..,,..obviously wealthy.....a lot of fuss made...not a problem! Starter came and then a 20 minute wait for a main that was very below par! Lobster was tough, mahi and snapper fish OK, but nothing special..,,.at least this was taken off the bill.
Delighted to see that our taxi driver was also fed by the restaurant, used the facilities and his friend had a drink at the bar! All so we could see, but no doubt did not pay the same prices.
No one poured topped up our wine, we just got the feeling because we were new, that no one really cared !
Front of house, really! No welcome, going through the motions. Not interested in creating the experience this restaurant is famous for and does not deliver unless you are a regular.....
Will not return, but doubt that anyone is bothered, cares or will lose sleepless nights.
Sorry for this review, but was so looking forward to a great dinner......and it was truly nothing special at London prices.
Perfectly nice, but unless you particularly wish for a French style when in the magnificent Caribbean, no rush to go at all. There claimed house speciality of ‘Mac and Cheese’... read more (hardly French!!) was nothing more than penne pasta covered in what what tasted extremely similar to a jar of Waitrose mascarpone sauce. Big menu with lots of choice of meant, fish and vegetarian. For us no rush to revisit.

We also tried our first ever chilled bottle of red wine, the choice is chilled or how you would normal have it and we thought well we will give it a go- it was lovely and worked very refreshing especially in the heat ! No room for dessert but they are good as we had the desert trolley a couple of years ago- not all of it - Def Recommend

Nice place, close to our hotel, Hodges Bay. The entrance and atmosphere were very nice. My only criticism was that is quite hot, obviously it was hot outside, but opening... read more the windows does not cool down enough.
However, the service was good, very attentive. The food was very good, especially my starter of foie gras and scallops. My dessert was nice, and really quite big, however our friends had crepes suzette, and said it the best dessert ever.
Would go again on a cooler day.
